10 Years of MagLoft Experience

MagLoft's story began in 2013, when co-founders Nick and Toby crossed paths while managing a startup community in Bali, Indonesia. Together, they set out to create a solution for indie publishers that would eventually evolve into the innovative digital publishing platform we know today as MagLoft.

The first version of MagLoft was launched in January 2014, initially supporting iOS apps exclusively. As our platform continued to gain traction, we incorporated in Singapore in 2015 and expanded our offering to include Android apps and the TypeLoft visual drag-and-drop editor. MagLoft quickly gained a reputation as one of the best mobile app publishing solutions, praised for our feature-rich product offerings and competitive pricing.

In 2017, we began attracting larger enterprises seeking more customized options. Clients like Yahoo Singapore, Prudential Hong Kong, and Amway International sought our expertise, leading us to fund our business growth through custom development projects.

After serving 500 clients and launching 1,000 mobile apps, we shifted our focus to developing our Universal Web App in 2020. The Universal App would replace our initial web app and offer numerous additional benefits, including improved SEO content and lightning-fast loading times.

Late in 2022, we pivoted our business from a SaaS model to a Tech Studio. After almost a decade of working with clients of all types and sizes, we recognized our strength and passion lay in custom and bespoke solutions where we could be truly solving. We also learned that publishers operate differently and have distinct requirements, which made it challenging to deliver one-size-fits-all solutions as a SaaS company.
