As you probably know, you can request and share your suggestions on our feature request board. We consistently improve the Universal App, and we value your suggestion highly.
We hear you, and we are making it happen. Here are the new features and improvements implemented in September & October.
Custom Code
Having the ability to add custom HTML code to your Universal App can unlock many new potentials for your digital publication. Such as running scripts to allow cookies, intercom chat, custom styling, and many more.
You can now easily add custom code through the Settings > Custom Code page in your Universal App admin.
The CTA button for collection is now located on top of your page
Keeping the purchase flow clear is very important for your audiences. This is why we decided to move the call-to-action or CTA button (Buy, Subscribe, Read, and Preview) for your content to the top and make it sticky, which makes it accessible even when readers scroll down.
Rename “Articles” & “Account” on your Top Menu
Shout out to David from Living Now for recommending various ways Universal App can easily adapt to the nature of your business! We have made it easier for you to change the text title on the menu item for “Articles” and “Account”.
Turn Off Global SEO Indexing
In some cases, you might want to keep your content private, including from search engines.
We understand that some of our clients want to keep their content private, including from search engines. You can now turn off Global SEO indexing to ensure your content is hidden from search engines. This is very useful if you use Universal App for internal communication or membership-only publications.
New Way to Play Help Tutorial Video
We have improved the Admin Page’s Help Center! Instead of having it play in a small help center tab, now, it will be shown in a mini video player, making it easier for you to watch the video tutorial while making changes on your UA admin.
